Installation de nightview
- En tant que root dans le répertoire où nightview a été téléchargé:
- gzip -d nightview*.tar.gz
- tar -xvf nightview*.tar
- mkdir /lib/udev/devices
- Installer sbig driver
- cd nightview*/libsbig
- ./install_sbig_firmware.sh
- echo "usbfs /proc/bus/usb/ usbfs defaults 0 0" >> /etc/fstab
- cd ..
- ./configure --without-xnightview --without-xmove
- Installation sans support graphique
- make install
- nightview-conf /usr/local/etc/nightview.conf
- Pour créer le fichier de configuration. Ce dernier peut être édité à la main
- S'assurer que nightviewd est exécuté au démarrage suivant en faisant ps -A | grep telescoped
Retour à l'installation de SAND
Installation de la camera st-7mei sous linux mandrake 2008 spring (OBSOLETE)
En principe si l'installation de nightview a bien fonctionné cette installation serait déjà faite.
- Télécharger PUBLIC_SOFTWARE ici
- Décompresser l'archive PUBLIC_SOFTWARE-2008-03-04.tar.gz
- cd sbigudrv/Release/drv
- Suivre le README pour installer le sbigudrv shared library. e.g.
- Copy the 10-sbig.rules and 50-usb-serial.rules files to the /etc/udev/rules.d directory.
- Copy all hex and bin files to the /lib/firmware directory.
- Check if you have fxload utility inside the /sbin directory, otherwise install it from your linux distribution.
- Copy the libsbigudrv_X.XX_IYY.so library to the /usr/local/lib.
- Switch on your SBIG USB CCD camera and plug it to your computer. The camera should be automatically detected and seen with the "sudo lsusb" command as shown below. The idVendor & idProduct has to be 0d97 and 0101, respectively, otherwise no firmware was uploaded into your camera.

- Decompresser l'archive
- Installer le paquettage libfitsio et libfitsiodev avec Drakconf
