Hi Prof. I try to start our measurement with both the lidar and the SAND. Here I send you our first attempt in 27 Oct. It was a clear day but with fog below the boundary layer. So it is not ideal weather for our experment, maybe the fog affect the SNR of both the two instrumen, but on another aspect I think we should try do our experment under complex atmosphere. The lidar data is extinction coefficient profile, I think the profile would be more useful than the simply AOD. Here is my plan: I must come to the lab when the lidar is working to make sure the data is OK or to prevent the rain, because we do not have enought manpower, so I try to make some observation under the clear weather night, we can analysis those data and get some result. Most of the lidar data will get during 19:00 to 22:00 during the night, after that time the lab will closed and I have come back to home. So what is your suggestion to the experment? besides the SAND and lidar,do we need other data for our analyse?
